Accessibility Information

In keeping with obligations under the DDA we believe we have taken all reasonable measures to ensure that this website and associated media are accessible to as wide an audience as possible.

If you encounter issues browsing this site please contact accessibility@axess-media.co.uk .

This site makes use of alternate stylesheets. Accessed by the buttons in the accessibility toolbar at the top of the website they provide a quick means of increasing the font size or changing the display layout, either for quick loading on mobile devices or for high contrast.

Although additional functionality has been included to allow you to change the text size of the font used and the contrast of the foreground and background colours, the ability to change the way your internet browser displays this site is better controlled within the browser itself. The BBC have created a very useful tutorial which explains how to change your settings to suit your preferences within the software you use.

This site should function in most contemporary, standards compliant browsers regardless of platform.

The site has been constructed semantically - meaning its structure is logical with content separated from code. This should also allow alternative browsing technologies to access the content more efficiently.

This site has been constructed to meet at least Level A of the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards and where possible higher has been achieved.

At the date of first publishing this site validated as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and to current CSS standards.
